Birthday party of two God's Mother on 31 May 2009

Happy Birthday to my Gods Mother " Seneca and Yan Yan"!
We have the birthday party at our home. Momi prepared a chocolate cake for them. One, two, three, blow out the candles!
Wish two pretty God's mother be happy and healthy! With God's love!

I love Birthday party. It is fun for you and everyone. I can sing my favourite song "Happy Birthday". I like to blow out the candle. Momi saw that I was the first one to take the chair in front of the cake for candle blowing. You see I am so aggressive.

Bubbles Time at Toilet

One morning, Himyau asked to play bubble-blowing. Momi explained to him not to play at home because it made the home dirty. Of course, he refused and asked to go to playground for playing. However, Himyau needed to go to school so we didn't have time to play in the playground. Momi didn't want to turn down his request because blowing bubble is not a wrong thing and we still have a little time for playing. Then, Momi let you play it at toilet. Himyau stayed at toilet and played it happily.

Himyau, Momi let you have much freedom to do many things because Momi wants you to make your own choice wisely and grow up under a stable emotion. Momi respects your choice and let you do it. Momi doesn't treat you as a baby but a boy. Then, you can know much about yourself under your own request. Hope momi's attitude can make your EQ be benefited.

Sunday School - Badminton Day

How sporty of Himyau is!

This week, our church hold an indoor activity for Sunday school children - playing badminton. Himyau was so excited when he knew he could play badminton in that morning. Himyau is an energetic boy. He loves to run, jump and play balls, esp under the sun - like his momi and daddy. Our dream is to go diving and skiing with himyau in one day. Hope it will be come true soon!

Science Museum on 30 May 2009

Himyau loves to go Museum because he can touch many interesting things. This week, we stayed at Science Museum for more than one hour. He drove diggers and played the game about electricity, sound, weight, wind and mirror. Momi didn't know how much you learned in this visit but Momi knows you must learn much. Therefore, Momi and daddy will bring you to every museums regularly so you can explore different areas of knowledge.

Library day at Tsim Sha Tsui

Momi loves to go to Tsim Sha Tsui library with HimYau because there are many children's book, esp. our favourite series ORT and not much people. This week, we read 16 books. It is excellent. Himyau loves the most is the story about cars. You see himyau read by himself which is the one after momi read - of course, that is the car story! Himyau, momi hopes you can learn more words so you can be an independent reader very soon. Momi is waiting for this day! Work hard!

Music Class on 30 May 2009

This lesson, Ms Maggie Wong invited all the parents to join the parent session, i.e. 15mins before the lesson end. She told us what the children learned in these five lessons.

They learned: do; loud and soft; high pitch and low pitch; the sign of one beat and one beat rest; song of Birdie and three little bats; following to tap three beats in drum; identification of bells and tambourine.

Ms Maggie said they can sit properly during the lesson without parent there. I saw Himyau enjoyed the lesson very much; esp. the bubble times.

One surprised thing was happened during on the way to lesson. We passed the shopping mall 又一城. At that time, there were some music playing by the music player. Himyau asked what is the sound. Then, I just told him, it was some music. Himyau said it was the sound of trumpet. Daddy said he was correct. I felt so surprised how he can identity the music instrument by earing. The reason is due to his young age. I heard from some pianist/musician, if the child has been trained up to use the ear when he is young, he could get the perfect pitch. It means he can use his ear to identify the pitch of every sound. Of course, I hope Himyau can develop this skill during his music learning path.

Sometimes, Himyau will bring his friend back to school with him; of course, Buzz lightyear will stay out with Auntie.
